Amazon, market leader in online retailing, now offers sellers of customizable items like 3D configurators support under the keyword „Amazon Custom“ to present thes products more simply and customer-friendly.
Individually manufactures and adapted products have been available in Amazon`s onlineshop for some time. Until now, however, the majority of adjustment requests had to be sent to the seller in the form of messages. Since „Amazon Custom“ has only recently become available in Germany, the selection of vendors offering this simplified product configuration is currently limited. The potential is great and anyone entering the market can probably gain a clear advantage over suppliers who have not yet recognized the signs of the times and consider convenient product configurators to be superflous, complicated or immature.
Not everything is fully configurable yet. With the „Text adaptation“ option, font sizes and alignments cannot yet be adapted. However, the essential step has been taken. Communication between customer and seller is simplified and accelerated. The live preview makes selection much easier. Moreover, Amazon can be expected to develop products and services quickly, consistently and above all, with the aim of making them easy to use. Configurators that are confusing and difficult to use for sellers and buyers will probably have a hard time in the future and the transmission of customization requests in the form of messages will probably soon be athing of the past.

- All orders must be fulfilled by you. The program is not available for shipping through Amazon products.

- To enable customization, you must be the only seller offering the product. If other sellers have existings listings of the product on Amazon, you will need to create your own unique listing to showcase your customization features.
What are the feeds for Amazon Custom.

What is Amazon Custom`s return policy?
As a seller of customizable products, you can set your own return policy for items that are personalised and therefore not eligible for return under Amazon`s standard return policy. If you do not accept returns for your custom products, make sure your seller policies are clearly displayed to your customers on the appropriate page. While we understand that it can be difficult to accept returns for customisable products, we we strongly recommend that you accept returns as this will increase customer confidence and reordering.
