Some companies like the swabian furniture specialist “Meine Möbelmanufaktur” or the belgian brand “Joli” think differently. Potential customer can there easily create their individual pieces of furniture.
This is being made possible by a furniture configurator. Customer can create in few steps their individual and creative furniture according to their own ideas.
The company “Meine Möbelmanufaktur” was established by the two founder Birgit Gröger and Sebastian Schips. During their studies was born the idea to produce configurable pieces of furniture in a local production.
In production process use the company only timber from Germany and Austria.
The user can modificate 7 different pieces of furniture like sideboards or tables according to their own ideas. The progress of configuration can be continually watch in a preview window.
The StartUp “Meine Möbelmanufaktur” use a so called step-by-step configurator. The belgian brand “Joli”, however, focuses on a solution in Realtime-3D, that means that the user can modificate materials virtually in Realtime.
Conclusion: The quality of the provided 3D visualization is for the success of customizable products very important. The customer will only place an order, if the visualizations is matching with their own ideas.
