Realtime 3D Rendering

What are real-time 3D renderings?

3D rendering is the process of converting information from a 3D model into a 2D image. 3D rendering can be used to create a variety of images, from intentionally less realistic to so-called photorealistic images. The latter look as much like images as if they were taken with a conventional camera, so most people can’t tell the difference between a 3D rendering and a “real” photo. Real-time rendering, on the other hand, is the process by which animations and images are rendered quickly. The process is so fast that the images appear to be in real time.

What services do we specifically offer in the area of 3D renderings?

In today’s practice, three different 3D rendering techniques are usually used: scanline rendering, ray tracing and radiosity.

How are 3D renderings created?

In 3D rendering, computer graphics converts 3D wireframe models into 2D images with photorealistic or reality-based 3D effects. Rendering can take from seconds to days for a single image or frame. In real-time rendering, the 3D images are computed at a very high speed, making it appear as if the scenes, which consist of a large number of images, are running in real time.

For the presentation of our new liveTec mobile system on the Euro Shop 2014 we urgently needed a 3D animation. The team of the VisCircle GmbH was able to do this 3D animation to our specifications perfectly and at very short notice. The cooperation was always straightforward and enjoyable, despite the tight schedule. The result was very convincing, the fair guests were impressed by the animation.

Tobias Gunderlach, Systec

After being unsatisfied with the quality and flexibility of 360° product photos taken by a professional photographer, the VisCircle GmbH was commissioned to create 3D renderings instead. The communication and data exchange were always smooth and pleasant.

Patrick Rurüp, Rürüp Retail GmbH

In November 2013, the VisCircle GmbH 3D rendered our tank fittings for a fair and various print media. The images were to be printed on huge posters in an high resolution. I would like to thank the VisCircle GmbH for the rapid implementation. Photos of this scene would have been much more expensive.

Andreas von Keitz, ARTA Armaturen- und Tankgerätebau GmbH & Co. KG

The presentation of our surgical lights in 3D inspires not only our sales staff but also our customers. In March 2014, the VisCircle GmbH developed our 3D configurator. All the features of our OT lights can now be experienced interactively in real-time. The 3D configurator is embedded into our website and is also available for iOS and Android devices. We look forward to further development of our configurator.
